ICSE, ISC 2026 Exams Cancelled in UAE:  The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), today, March 13, 2026, has announced that ICSE and ISC exams 2026 have been cancelled across all exam centres in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This step is taken keeping in mind the safety of the children amidst the current security situation in the Middle East. 

CISCE Chief Executive and Secretary Dr Joseph Emmanuel has officially announced the cancellation of exams. He further reported that the results of such students will be prepared via an alternative assessment method, details of which will be provided later. He further added that Class 10 and 12 Board results will be announced along with the results of the Indian students.

The UAE has also announced an early spring break for schools and universities. Students and staff are set to be on break between March 9 and March 22. 

ICSE, ISC 2026 Exams in UAE: How Will Results Be Prepared?

The officials have confirmed that the ICSE and ISC Board results 2026 will be prepared based on internal and practical exams conducted by the schools. The details of the process will be notified in due course to the students. 

Dr Emmanuel said that in case students are dissatisfied with their results, they can appear for an improvement examination once results are announced and conditions become conducive to conducting the exams. 

ICSE, ISC 2026 Exams in UAE: Why Were Exams Cancelled?

The exam officials, after consulting with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and the Consulate General of India in Dubai, have decided to cancel the Class 10 and 12 exams scheduled between March 16 and April 6 for UAE centres.

Due to the escalating war situations in the Middle East, the authorities have cancelled the exams to ensure the safety of the students, teachers, and other stakeholders. Several ICSE and ISC 2026 examinations had already been postponed.
