JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the deadline to register for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for Class 6. Now, candidates can apply for the JNVST Class 6 2024 form till September 23, 2024. Initially, the application's last date was September 16. Students can submit the JNVST Class 6 2024 form at navodaya.gov.in.

"A candidate is allowed to apply for JNVST only once. During verification of the registration data, if it is found that the candidate had applied in previous years, the candidature of the candidate will be rejected," reads the official website.

According to media reports, the JNVST 2024 will be conducted in two phases, including January 18 and April 12, 2025.

JNVST 2025 Admission: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have been born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015. Moreover, they should not have repeated Class 6 prior to the 2024-25 academic session.

JNVST 2025 Admission: Rural Student Eligibility

75 per cent of the seats are reserved for candidates from rural areas. To qualify under the rural quota, applicants must have completed Classes 3, 4, and 5 at a government or recognised rural school, with Class 5 finished in the same district where they are applying for admission.

JNVST 2025 Admission: Test Pattern

The JNVST exam will consist of three types of tests, each featuring a different number of questions and marks. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours, with a single shift running from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on both days. Divyang (differently-abled) students will receive an additional 40 minutes to complete the exam.
