KU Admission 2026: Directorate of Admissions and Competitive Examinations (DACE), University of Kashmir, has extended the deadline for submission of the online applications for BTech and MTech admissions. Due to repeated requests from candidates who were unable to submit their KU BTech & MTech application forms for some reason, the university has extended the deadline till May 21, 2026. Candidates must note that those who have already registered but have not updated their eligibility can do the needful till the extended deadline. Once this extension is over, the university will not accept any further applications.

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can follow the given steps to fill out their admission form for the BTech and MTech courses.
Step 1: Visit the official portal at kashmiruniversity.net/admission.aspx.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Application Form For M.Tech or B.Tech Programmes Session 2026” link.
Step 3: Click on the registration link and enter your user name and password to log in.
Step 4: Enter all required information and upload mandatory documents.
Step 5: Pay the prescribed fee and submit the form.
Who Can Apply For BTech And MTech Admissions?
To apply for the BTech and MTech courses at the Kashmir University, candidates must meet the educational requirements as prescribed by the university. For MTech courses, candidates must have a relevant undergraduate degree from a recognized college or university, while BTech class 12th pass-outs are eligible. Candidates must have scored the minimum aggregate marks in their qualifying examinations. Additionally, they must have all valid documents to support their application.
