RPSC RAS 2024 Registration:  The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will begin the registration process for the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) prelims examination today, September 19. The last date to apply will be October 18, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 733 vacancies. Candidates are advised to read the RPSC RAS 2024 official notification before filling out the application form.

RPSC RAS 2024: Vacancy details

Rajasthan State Service: 346 vacancies

Rajasthan Subordinate Service: 387 vacancies

RPSC RAS 2024: Eligibility criteria

To apply for RAS 2024, candidates must have at least a graduation degree. Moreover, they should be between 21 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2025, to be eligible for the recruitment examination.

RPSC RAS 2024: Application fee

The application fee for RPSC RAS 2024 will be Rs 600 for candidates belonging to the General (Unreserved), Creamy Layer of Backward Class, Most Backward Class, and Creamy Layer categories. For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer), Most Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Saharan Area, and disabled category candidates, the fee will be Rs 400.

RPSC RAS 2024: Exam Pattern

Preliminary Exam

The preliminary exam consists of a single objective-type (multiple-choice) paper worth 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours, and the question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.

Main Examination

The main exam includes four written papers: General Studies-I, General Studies-II, General Studies-III, General Hindi, and General English, each carrying 200 marks.

Candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam will be invited for an interview or personality test. The interview/personality test is valued at 100 marks, and there are no minimum qualifying marks required.
