RRB RPF Recruitment 2024 Update:  Social media users have been sharing a notice that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) is hiring sub-inspectors and constables. The notice is "fake," as the PIB Fact Check team has made clear. The fake notice states that a total of 4660 vacancies have been notified by RRB, which includes 4208 vacant posts of RPF constable and 452 vacant posts of Sub Inspector.

On the microblogging site X, the PIB tweeted, “A #Fake notice issued in the name of Railway Ministry regarding recruitment of sub-inspector & constable in Railway Protection force is circulating on social media#PIBFactCheck. No such notice has been issued by @RailMinIndia”.

The recruitment notification will be issued on the official website. Candidates are advised to check only the official website and official social media handles for any recruitment notification. Once the notification is issued, candidates will be able to apply online. The notification will contain details of registration dates, exam dates, vacancy details, exam patterns, and other important details.

Each year, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) administers the sub-inspector and constable exams in three stages including Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and document verification. The exam lasts for 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes). one-third of the total marks in each question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
