Telangana Inter First Year Admission 2024-25: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has extended the last day for first-year intermediate admissions to the academic year 2024-25. The new deadline for students to finish their admissions has been extended to October 15, 2024.

However, the cause for the extension has not been revealed. Earlier, the deadline was extended to September 15, 2024. Parents and students are asked to confirm the affiliation of their preferred junior colleges before proceeding with admissions. The list of connected colleges is available on the TSBIE's official websites, acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

TSBIE Inter 1st Year Admission 2024-25: Late fee for junior private colleges

According to a notice issued by the TSBIE, admissions to government and government sector junior colleges can be completed without incurring late fees.

The TSBIE has directed all junior college administrators, including those at government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and residential schools, to make sure that the admission process for first-year Intermediate students runs smoothly till the extended deadline.

Telangana Intermediate Admission 2024-25: Official extension notice

The official TSBIE notice read, “All the Principals of the Government/Private Aided/Private Un- Aided/Co-Operative/TG Residential/TG Social Welfare Residential/TG Tribal Welfare Residential/TG Model Schools/TG BC Welfare/ TMRJC/KGBV /Incentive Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges offering two-year Intermediate Course are informed that the last date for admissions into 1-year Intermediate for the academic year 2024-25 is extended up to 15-10-2024 with a late fee Rs.500/- for Private Junior Colleges and without a late fee for Government & Government Sector Junior Colleges.”

TSBIE Inter 1st Year Admission 2024-25: Documents Required

Students will need the following papers for first-year intermediate course entrance in 2024-25:

  • Class 10 or SSC marksheet (original and photocopy)
  • Transfer certificate (TC) from the previous school
  • Bonafide certificate from the last attended school
  • Caste certificate (if applicable, for reservation benefits)
  • Income certificate (if applying for fee concession or scholarship)
  • Aadhaar card or any valid ID proof
  • Recent passport-sized photographs (typically 4-6)
  • Domicile or residence Certificate (if required)
  • Migration Certificate (for students coming from boards outside Telangana).
