TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Result 2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has declared the results of the Combined Civil Services Group 2 (Prelims) Examination 2024. These results have been announced for both non-interview posts and Group 2A services under the Combined Civil Services Group 2 category. Candidates who took the TNPSC Group 2 examination can check and download the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Result 2024 at tnpsc.gov.in.

In order to access the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Result 2024, candidates will have to enter their registration number and date of birth on the portal.

The TNPSC Group 2 prelims exam 2024 was conducted on September 14, 2024, in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm to fill Group 2 and 2A posts. The TNPSC Group 2 Exam consists of three stages: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview process. Candidates who pass the prelims will proceed to the main exam and interview. The main exam is a descriptive written test, whereas the preliminary exam, held over three hours, consisted of 200 questions covering General Studies, aptitude, mental abilities, and language (General Tamil or General English).

The commission has announced that 2,327 positions are available for candidates, including roles such as assistant inspectors, deputy commercial tax officers, special assistants, assistant section officers, and audit inspectors. Of these, 1,820 positions are designated for Group 2A posts, while 507 are reserved for Group 2 posts.
