UPSC IES, ISS 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Indian Economical Services (IES) and Indian Statistical Services (ISS) tests 2024. Sinchan Snigdha Adhikary topped the ISS exam, while Anurag Gautam took first place in the IES exam. Applicants who participated in the recruitment tests can view the final merit lists on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

UPSC IES and ISS 2024 tests were held on June 21-23. Applicants who passed the written exam are scheduled for interviews and personality tests in December 2024. The recruitment drive intends to fill 18 IES posts and 33 ISS.

Nevertheless, only 31 individuals were chosen for ISS due to the unavailability of PwBD-2 and PwBD-3 candidates. Furthermore, one backlog position was filled by a non-disabled person.

The UPSC results for eight applicants, four from IES and four from ISS, have been kept preliminary. "The offer of appointment to the candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued till the commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates and clarifies the provisional status of these candidates," the commission said.

These applicants' provisional results will be recognized for three months from the date the final results are declared. If an applicant fails to provide the appropriate documentation to the commission within this time frame, their candidature will be cancelled, and no further correspondence will be accepted in this regard.

Applicants' marks will be made accessible via the Internet within fifteen days of the results being published.
