Pandariya Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023: Pandariya is an electoral constituency in the Chhattisgarh State Legislative Assembly, located within the Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) constituency. Pandariya is situated in the Kabirdham district within the central region of Chhattisgarh. This constituency is classified as semi-urban in nature.
The Pandariya constituency has a total of 2,79,459 registered voters, comprising 1,40,973 male voters and 138,486 female voters. During the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, it witnessed a voter turnout of 77.36 per cent. In 2013, the turnout was 78.42 per cent, while in 2008, it stood at 73.52 per cent.
This year, Chhattisgarh is poised to witness a direct contest between the reigning Congress party and its primary adversary, the BJP. The BJP is banking on the considerable popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the idea of a "double-engine government," a term frequently emphasised by the party during state Assembly election campaigns. Conversely, the Congress has placed a spotlight on the subject of corruption as a pivotal focal point in the run-up to the Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023.
Pandariya Assembly Election 2023:
The BJP announced its first list of 21 candidates for the forthcoming Chhattisgarh Assembly elections on August 17. Nevertheless, the party has not yet disclosed the candidate for the Pandariya constituency. Similarly, the Congress party is presently in the process of revealing its list of candidates for the Chhattisgarh elections.

Arun Sao, the Chhattisgarh BJP president, expressed confidence in the party's prospects in the upcoming assembly elections, stating that, "In the last five years, Bhupesh Baghel-led government has turned Chhattisgarh into a hub of crime and corruption. It cheated and looted all sections of the state and the development work is at a standstill. The people of Chhattisgarh have understood that the future of the state is safe in the hands of the BJP... Definitely, the lotus will bloom in Chhattisgarh in November."
Pandariya Assembly Election 2018:
In the 2018 election, Mamta Chandrakar from the Congress secured victory in the constituency by defeating Motiram Chandravanshi of the BJP, with a margin of 36,487 votes.
Pandariya Assembly Election 2013:
In the 2013 elections, Moti Ram Chandravanshi from the BJP emerged victorious in the constituency, securing a margin of 7,273 votes, which accounted for 3.65 per cent of the total votes. Moti Ram Chandravanshi received 40.94 per cent of the total votes cast.
