Upcoming Action Thrillers Releasing In 2024: The second half of the year is going to be full of entertainment as the Indian film industry is going to bring some power-packed action-thriller movies. Some of the most anticipated films are going to be released in the upcoming months of 2024. From Devara: Part 1 to Singham Again, these big banner movies will not only bring some large-than-life characters to the silver screen but also promise to bring some of the best stories on the silver screen.
Devara: Part 1
Koratala Siva’s directorial is set against the backdrop of coastal lands which briefs about emotionally charged incidents in the periodic timeline. It will also showcase the protagonist being the rescuers of the deprived people. The movie stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ramya Krishnan and Murali Sharma in key roles. It is scheduled to release in theatres on 27th September this year.
Pushpa 2: The Rule
The sequel of Pushpa: The Rise is one of the highly anticipated movies of this year. The movie will continue showcasing the clash between Pushpa and Bhanwar Singh. Sukumar’s directorial also stars Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sritej, Vijay Sethupathi, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Priyamani in prominent roles. The movie is scheduled to release in theatres on 6th December 2024.
Kantara: Chapter 1
Rishab Shetty’s 2022 movie Kantara received several accolades including National Award. The movie is all set to back with its sequel. The story revolves around exploring the origins of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. The movie stars Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore Kumar G, Achyuth Kumar and Pramod Shetty in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled to be released in December this year.
Singham Again
Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer cop drama will feature some prominent faces of Bollywood. It stars Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on 1st November 2024.
Baby John
Kalees’ directorial will delve into the story of DCP who transforms and moves to several places to save his family. The movie stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav and Sheeba Chaddha in key roles. It is scheduled to be released in theatres on 25th December 2024.
