Allu Arjun was released from a Hyderabad jail on Saturday after spending a night in custody. His arrest was linked to the tragic stampede that occurred at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule. As per ANI, while speaking to the media outside his Jubilee Hills home, the actor assured fans and the public that he was in good health. "There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate," Allu Arjun said, emphasizing his respect for the law.
The incident, which occurred on December 4, led to the death of a 35-year-old woman, and her eight-year-old son was hospitalized. The chaos ensued as thousands of fans gathered to see the actor at the theatre. Following the incident, the woman's family filed a complaint, resulting in the registration of a case against Allu Arjun, his security team and the theatre management.

Allu Arjun expressed his deep regret over the tragedy, calling it an "unintentional" accident. He extended his condolences to the family of the deceased, saying, "It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened."

After his arrest on Friday, Allu Arjun was initially sent to judicial custody for 14 days. However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail, recognizing his right to life and liberty as a citizen. Although the bail order was delayed, causing the actor to spend a night in jail, he was released the following day.
