Animal Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor's film is rewriting box office records since its debut. Its remarkable success story continues into its second week, maintaining a phenomenal streak both in domestic and overseas markets. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed movie sustained its winning momentum on its second Tuesday, pulling in quite the crowd. The film boasted an overall 19 per cent occupancy for its Hindi version.
Animal Box Office Report
The film has been an absolute powerhouse at the Indian box office, currently standing at an impressive Rs 458.12 crore. On Day 12, second Tuesday, Animal raked in Rs 13 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film's viewership has remained strong, with Hindi occupancy at 19.86 per cent, similar numbers for Tamil screenings and 20.95 per cent for Telugu shows. Since its opening on December 1 with Rs 63.8 crore, the film has showcased incredible growth. While its first Tuesday earnings were a staggering Rs 37.47 crore, the recent second Tuesday's collection, while lower, is still significant—nearly three times the normal earnings for many movies.
Despite this dip, the film has become Ranbir Kapoor's highest-grossing film and is anticipated to surpass the Rs 500 crore mark in India soon. Globally, Animal has already earned Rs 737 crore gross and it seems like it will easily cross Rs 800 crore mark in its third week, solidifying its immense success on an international scale.

The film boasts an ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, and Suresh Oberoi alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The storyline centers on Ranbir's character, Ranvijay Singh, who exhibits an obsessive protectiveness towards his father, portrayed by Anil Kapoor. His unwavering devotion leads him to extremes as he navigates through the complexities of their relationship, forming the crux of the narrative. The 3 hour-21-minute-long film, was released in 5 languages- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
