Ankita Lokhande, known for her notable presence in the Bigg Boss 17 house, has once again captured the spotlight. Following her stint on the reality show, Ankita secured a significant role in Radeep Hooda's upcoming movie, Veer Savarkar, which will hit the theatres on March 22, 2024. Amid this exciting development, the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor has expressed her willingness to take on film projects without monetary compensation.

'I'm Ready To Do Films & Shows For Free': Ankita Lokhande

In a conversation with News18 Showsha, Ankita Lokhande said, “For me, money has always been secondary. The character I’m playing is the most important thing. Even now, I don’t run after money. I always go after the project. I’m ready to do films and shows for free.” 

She confidently asserted that women should feel no hesitation in advocating for a fairer portion of the rewards. “Having said that, I believe that you need to ask for what you want. And women, particularly, should ask for what they deserve.”

Ankita Lokhande announced that she is a part of ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ via her Instagram handle. She wrote, “Ringing light to the lost leader from the chapters of history! Starting a new chapter, right after BB17 feels extra special Grateful to be a part of this project alongside @randeephooda, produced by @anandpandit @zeestudiosofficial Don’t miss out on the date, 22nd March 2024 in your nearby theatres.”
