Anurag Kashyap is soon going to be a father-in-law as his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap is all set to get married soon. The pre-wedding festivities are in full swing and many of the celebrities like Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina who are close to the bride have marked their attendance. Aaliyah is set to tie knot with an American entrepreneur Shane Gregoire. Yesterday, a video went viral on social media which features Anurag dancing with his daughter, Vedang can be seen also joining the happy occasion. The clip is from Aaliyah’s mehendi ceremony where she opted for a dark green lehenga in which she looked beautiful. On the other hand, the filmmaker was donning a green sherwani. Anurag’s friend Imtiaz Ali and ex-wife Kalki Koechlin also attended the pre-wedding festivities. 

Aaliyah also shared a post from her mehendi ceremony and wrote on Instagram “mehendi & masti time.” The pictures captured some fun moments from the event along with her friends and fiance. Kalki dropped a heartfelt message on the comment section and wrote “Look at you, from a kid I used to read stories to, to a solid woman who has her own stories to tell. Love you.” 

Apart from Kalki, several celebrities also extended their wishes to the couple. A user said, “you guys look stunninggg!!” Another user wrote, “Nothing but love for both of you. Congratulations.” A comment read, “Queen & king.” Another comment read, “SOOOOOOOO DREAMY AHHHH.” 

Aaliyah’s mehendi design caught the attention of the fans particularly as her pets were drawn in her henna. Which has never been seen before for many. On the other hand, Shane made minimal henna designs for their pets Cosmo and Kai. Last year, the duo got engaged in a private ceremony which they later shared with their fans on Instagram. Aaliyah will get married in a traditional Indian ceremony on December 11, 2024.
