Arshad Warsi has faced tremendous backlash after his ‘Joker’ comment on Prabhas. Since then he has become cautious about his public comment. The actor recently opened up about online trolling and said that negativity does bother a positive person. Arshad further said since the backlash, he will love every film that he watches and also love all the actors for the rest of his life. The controversy emerged in August this year, when Arshad said that he was sad by the portrayal of Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD. He said that Prabhas was like ‘joker’ in the film. This statement did not go well with netizens which led to massive trolling of Arshad.

Now, speaking on the same, Arshad told India Today “Honestly, it's okay. Everyone has their point of view. Also, it's a democratic country, and everyone is allowed to speak in it. If you are a positive person, anything negative does bother you. However, we have been at a place where stones are thrown, so it doesn't bother me anymore.”

He also reacted if the incident made him extra cautious about commenting on public space. The actor said, “Absolutely, I have decided that I will love every film that I watch. I will love every actor for the rest of my life (laughs).”

Earlier this year, in an interview with Samdish Bhatia, Arshad said “Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana dia yaar. Kyu karte ho aisa mujhe nahi samajh mein aata (What have you made of it? Why do they do such things, I never understand).”

His statement was also criticised by South superstar Nani. At the press release event of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Nani said “I think the biggest publicity in that person's life (Arshad Warsi) just happened now. You are unnecessarily glorifying an unimportant matter then.”
