BLACKPINK members Jennie, Lisa and Rose have been busy with their solo music endeavours throughout 2024. While Rose has taken over the world of Kpop with her Bruno Mars collab song APT., Jennie and Lisa are all set to release debut solo albums in 2025. Jisoo has been busy showing off her acting chops and has completed filming for a Kdrama (Newtopia) and her debut Korean movie (The Prophet: Omniscient Reader) and has begun the filming of her new Kdrama Monthly Boyfriend with Seo In Guk. Here's a closer look at the member's solo activities ahead of their 2025 comeback.

BLACKPINK Jennie:

In a Weverse post to celebrate her four MAMA award wins at the 2024 ceremony held in Japan and the US, Jennie, took to the fan community app and wrote, "Thanks to your great love, we received 4 awards at MAMA. BLINK who always support and love us from far away. Thank you. My album will come out next year, so we'll repay you with good performances." Jennie has made her fans super happy after confirming that her album will be released in 2025. Jennie recently released her single Mantra under her label Odd Atelier. The Mantra music video recently reached 100 million views on YouTube.

 

BLACKPINK Lisa:

Lisa after dropping several teasers and releasing two singles under her own company LLOUD, has confirmed that her debut solo album ALTER EGO will be released on February 28, 2024. Lisa recently released Rockstar and New Woman ft. Rosalia. Both the songs have been well-received by Lilies. Lisa also embarked on solo fan meet tours across Asian cities and interacted with her fans.

BLACKPINK Rose:

Rose's debut solo album rosie drops on December 6, 2024, and she has released the official tracklist for the same. Here are the twelve songs on Rose's debut album.

Rose has expressed that she has poured all her raw emotions into the album's making and that the trolling on social media indeed affected her in the past. 

BLACKPINK Jisoo:

Jisoo - the Kdrama star recently started filming Monthly Boyfriend alongside Seo In Guk and she also opened up on her equation with her upcoming Kdrama Newtopia co-star Park Jeong Min. She said in an interview with Elle Korea, "I met senior #ParkJeongMin when I was acting in #DrCheonAndLostTalisman last year. When I got the role of #Newtopia, I heard that he was going to be in it. Filming Dr. Cheon only took 2 days, but the energy he showed was so strong that I wanted to work with him again. When I read the script, he gave me a lot of advice."

The Kdrama will reportedly have an overseas filming schedule in February 2025. She also said, "As of now, I don't think there's anything I'd regret much. I've tried what I wanted and worked as hard as I could. I want to keep living without regrets so this mindset doesn't change," reflecting on her solo journey in 2024 so far.
