BLACKPINK member Jisoo made an amazing acting debut as a female lead with K-drama 'Snowdrop' and impressed everyone with her stellar performance in the show. She has now established herself as a rising star in the world of K-dramas and is getting approached to star in several movies and shows. As per the latest reports, Jisoo has been cast to play a leading role in the film adaptation of the popular webtoon 'Omniscient Reader' and will be seen alongside popular and talented South Korean actors.
The reports further claimed that Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop have also been cast alongside Jisoo. For the unversed, both Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop are some of the most popular actors in South Korea and have given several hit K-dramas. Ahn Hyo Seop recently starred in the time travel Netflix show 'A Time Called You' and the rom-com 'Business Proposal' and both of them received international acclaim.

Talking about 'Omniscient Reader', the webtoon revolves around Dokja, who is an average office worker and shows a great interest in reading the web novel 'Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.' His life turns upside down when the novel's story becomes a reality and he is the only person who is aware of how the world will end. Dokja uses his knowledge to change the story and survive.

On the work front, Jisoo has reportedly been approached to star in another show opposite 'Start-Up' actor Park Jung-Min. She will be seen in the show 'Influenza', which is based on a novel written by author Han Sang-woon. The show will focus on a zombie apocalypse that happens before a couple decides to break up. Park Jung-min will reportedly be seen as Jae-yoon who wants to part ways with his Young-joo, the role which has reportedly been offered to Jisoo.
