BLACKPINK member Jisoo is all set to make her cameo appearance in the upcoming popular South Korean film ‘Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman.’ The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 27, in which she will be essaying the role of a beautiful fairy. The director of the film, Park Chan Wook, who is known for his blockbuster projects including ‘The Handmaiden’ and ‘Decision To Leave’ is garnering massive attention as he left positive remarks on Jisoo’s cameo appearance in the film.

During a press conference held for the film, he unveiled the character details of Jisoo’s role in the film. Fans of the singer were left in awe to see her viral fairy picture on the internet. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the filmmaker said, “And the special appearance…I was shocked. You all watched it, so it’s not a surprise. I didn’t recognize her at first, and I didn’t even think that she would appear as I watched it without any prior information.”

The cameo was supposed to be a surprise, thus sharing his honest thoughts, he said, “And since it’s a small role, I thought a minor actor would take on the role. But while watching, I thought, ‘Was there such a beautiful minor actor?’ and was shocked for a second.” As the clip was shared online, it quickly caught the attention of her fans. She was recently seen in a leading role in ‘Snowdrop.’

Talking about ‘Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman’, the film is a thriller depicting the story of a fake exorcist who cannot see ghosts but has the ability to solve the case with a ghost-like intuition and is commissioned with a strong case. The leading cast of the film includes Gang Dong Won, Huh Joon Ho, Esom, Lee Dong Hwi, Kim Jong Soo, and Park So Yi. The film will hit theatres on the occasion of Chuseok, on September 27.
