BTS Jhope also known as Jung Hoseok, has added another feather to his cap as his song Mona Lisa created a history. His latest track was released on March 21. In just 10 days, Mona Lisa entered the top 10 list of  Billboard Global Excluding US Chart. Yes, the track debuted at 9 on this week’s list. Notably, the chart has been topped by Rose & Bruno Mars’ APT, the second position has been occupied by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ Die With A Smile, the third spot has taken by Jennie’s Like Jennie. 

Doechi’s Anxiety, Billie Eilish’ Birds Of A Feather, Alex Warren’ Ordinary, Benson Boone’ Beautiful Things, Bad Bunny’ DtMF and Lola Young’ Messy have occupied on fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and tenth spot respectively. X (formerly known as Twitter) have been trending with congratulations Jhope tweets. A tweet read, “Mona Lisa” by Jhope debuts at #9 on this week's Billboard Global Excl. US chart CONGRATULATIONS J-HOPE MONA LISA ON BILLBOARD #jhope_MONALISA.” Notably, the song drew 30.5 million streams and 18,000 outside the United State in its first week. 

Mona Lisa is a love song which celebrates one’s unique beauty. The title has been inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic masterpiece Mona Lisa. As described by BIGHIT MUSIC, “the song conveys that what truly moves someone is not external beauty, but rather the distinctive characteristics that make each person special. j-hope participated in the production of the track, showcasing his continuously evolving artistry and musical prowess.” 

While sharing the concept photo of the song on March 16, the makers shared a series of pictures of the star. Jhope wrote on Instagram, “New Single 'MONA LISA' Concept Photo.”
