BTS' Jungkook's 27th Birthday: As the highly anticipated 27th birthday of BTS' beloved member, Jungkook, approaches on September 1, 2024, the city of Seoul has been transformed into a vibrant wonderland, courtesy of the devoted ARMY fan base. Despite Jungkook's current absence while fulfilling his mandatory military service, his fans have come together to create an unforgettable celebration in his honour. 

Seoul turns into wonderland ahead of Jungkook's birthday

The streets of Seoul are now adorned with elaborate decorations, and numerous cafes have been specially decked out with Jungkook-themed decor, offering a unique and immersive experience for fans. Furthermore, massive advertisements and various other festivities have been organised, all of which have contributed to an electrifying atmosphere in the city, making this birthday week an unforgettable experience for both locals and visiting fans alike.

International fans also joined the birthday celebration of Jungkook! The Kpop idol’s Chinese fan base secured ads in Seoul's Myeongdong Subway Station, K Finance Outdoor Screen, and Incheon Airport. Meanwhile, US and UK fans organised the "Golden Lights Event", illuminating three major landmarks in gold and green, matching his solo debut album GOLDEN's theme.

Jungkook will complete his 18-month military service in June 2025, but he's left fans with content to enjoy while he's away. Disney+ has released 4 episodes of Are You Sure?! featuring him with Jimin, and 4 more are coming in the upcoming weeks. Plus, his documentary JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL will hit the theaters on September 18.
