BTS Jungkook and Jimin, affectionately known as Jikook by their fans, recently melted hearts in the latest episode 5 of Disney+ Hotstar's travel docu-series Are You Sure?! In this episode, which was shot before their enlistment, the two best friends opened up about their upcoming military service, providing a glimpse into their close bond and playful camaraderie.

As they discussed their enlistment plans, Jimin mentioned that he was confident they would support each other through the process, rather than compete or fight. Jungkook, ever the affectionate maknae, expressed his wish to "sleep across from each other" during their military service. However, Jimin playfully shot down the idea, teasing that he wouldn't want to sleep next to Jungkook as he might get hit with an elbow during the night.

Their light-hearted banter continued as they joked about seeing each other with shaved heads and greeting one another during their time in the military, much to the delight of ARMYs. The interaction was made even more endearing by Taehyung (V), who sat quietly, amused by their antics.

The two engaged in this conversation: 

Jungkook: According to Jin, even friends of 10 years start to fight when they serve together.
Jimin: To be honest, I’m not worried about us fighting.
Jungkook: Me neither.

In the midst of these heartwarming moments, the reality of their impending enlistment became more poignant, reminding fans of the inevitable separation from their idols, even if temporary.

ARE YOU SURE?! EPISODE 5 HIGHLIGHTS: 

In December 2023, Bighit Music officially confirmed the military enlistment schedule for the remaining BTS members—Jungkook, Jimin, RM and V. The agency clarified that Jungkook and Jimin would enlist together, undergoing the process side by side in the same camp, fulfilling their mandatory military service. This announcement was met with mixed emotions from fans, who were both relieved and saddened by the news.

Meanwhile, RM and V, who were earlier rumoured to enlist together, will undergo their enlistment procedures individually. Bighit Music also confirmed that there would be no official ceremony for the members' entry into the military. Fans were urged not to gather near the enlistment camp to avoid any potential crowding issues, as the entrance ceremony is a private event reserved for military personnel and their families.

The agency also issued a warning to fans, advising them to be cautious of unauthorized tours or product packages using BTS's intellectual property. They emphasized that legal action would be taken against any unauthorized commercial activities involving such IP.

Are You Sure?! is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The sixth episode of the series will premiere on September 5, followed by the seventh episode on September 12 and the eighth and final episode on September 19, 2024. The series showcases a more carefree, relaxed and youthful side of the three members of the biggest Kpop group in the world.
