BTS Jungkook who is currently completing his mandatory military service took some time out from his duties and shared a new photo with his pet dog, Bam. For the unversed Jungkook is not on Instagram. The youngest BTS member had made his solo account just like the other Kpop group members in December 2021 but deleted it later citing reasons that the application just did not match his vibes. Later this year in April, Jungkook opened an Instagram account for his pet dog Bam, who is a Doberman Pinscher.
ARMYs quickly reacted to the pet account, which is managed by Jungkook, and expressed their love and admiration for Jungkook and the bond he and his pet share. The pet account with the username '@bowwow_bam' has a massive following of 6.4 million followers as of November 27, 2024. Jungkook updated the profile picture of the Instagram account and treated ARMYs with new photos of Bam in the snowy winter.

What has caught the attention of ARMYs is the post caption. Along with several emojis, Jungkook joined in the countdown leading up to his military discharge in 2025 and simply wrote, '196.' Jungkook enlisted in the military alongside bandmate Jimin in December 2023. RM and V enlisted in the military a day before Jungkook and Jimin. BTS member RM aka Kim Namjoon also took to Instagram and commented, "I miss you" and "I miss Bangtan so much" on the post.

All BTS members have, time and again, expressed their eagerness to reunite and make a comeback as seven as soon as possible. Jungkook recently won several awards at the MAMA Awards 2024, held in the US and Japan. Jungkook released his debut solo album GOLDEN in November 2023 with hit singles like Seven, 3D and Standing Next To You.
A documentary titled Jungkook: I AM STILL was released in select theatres across the globe and performed well at the box office. The documentary was based on Jungkook's GOLDEN album production journey. ARMYs and BTS members themselves wait for the coming year 2025 and the septet's highly-anticipated reunion. Jin and Jhope have completed their mandatory military service and were discharged earlier in 2024.
