BTS V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has stirred excitement among fans with the release of the second teaser for his much-anticipated single, Winter Ahead. The teaser, unveiled by BIGHIT MUSIC on November 26, 2024, gives a captivating glimpse into his jazz-pop collaboration with renowned ballad singer Park Hyo Shin.

Set in a cosy, nostalgic atmosphere, the teaser shows V exuding pure joy as he shares tender moments with a mysterious woman. The lively party scene brims with warmth and laughter, only for the visuals to take an eerie turn, leaving fans feeling a mix of sweetness and melancholy.

The cinematic vibe has left many speculating about the deeper meaning behind the teaser. Fans were particularly struck by the teaser's haunting yet beautiful lyrics, where V and Park Hyo Shin harmonize: "Come on, may change your heart; who can say if you look in my eyes." This lyrical depth, paired with the soulful tones of the two singers, has amplified the anticipation for the song.

The first teaser for Winter Ahead had already set the bar high, smashing records as the most-liked music video teaser by a K-pop artist in 2024 within 16 hours, surpassing BLACKPINK Lisa’s Rockstar. It also became the most-viewed teaser for a Korean soloist this year, dethroning V’s own record with FRI(END)S.

Adding to the excitement, fans gathered in massive numbers for public screenings of the teaser, including at Shinsegae Square. The buzz doesn’t stop there—Winter Ahead is set to release in two distinct music video versions: the official version on November 29 and a Cinematic Still version on November 30.

On the same day the teaser dropped, V delighted ARMYs with a heartfelt Weverse post, sharing snowy photos from his military service. His message read: "Are you doing well? Did you see how it snowed? Winter is starting now. Have fun amongst yourselves ARMYs, next year, let's have lots of fun with Bangtan too, okay? Okay? Okay?"
