BTS Military Service: BTS members are currently on a hiatus to move forward with their mandatory military service. Jungkook, Jimin, V and Jimin enlisted in the military in December 2023 and it was an emotional feeling for their fans as all the members will reunite in 2025. The first pictures of RM and V from the military have surfaced online and BTS ARMY can't keep calm. Fans are relieved to get updates about BTS members' well-being.

Both RM And V can be seen wearing their military uniforms and posing with their respective units.

Fans were earlier concerned after the sudden removal of BTS from The Camp platform, which provides updates about soldiers to their families. It was revealed that the withdrawal of BTS members from the website occurred as a result of the Intellectual Property Rights Issue due to the fans demanding frequent updates. BTS members were excluded from the star soldier list and the app removed artists from major management companies to avoid legal issues.

V has decided to enlist in the Special Duty Team, an anti-terrorism unit directly under the supervision of the Blue House and said that he wanted to challenge himself. Addressing the concern of his fans. Assuring fans, V said, "There were articles coming out about the unit I will be enlisting. ARMYs were worried, but honestly, I just wanted to challenge myself by going there and because I have goals. So please do not worry too much. I am challenging myself, but I also know how to deflect when needed. I shall return healthy and not get hurt. I’m a little bit scared of rappels, but… just please trust me."

As BTS is currently on a hiatus, the group has curated several projects for the fans including the drama 'Begins Youth', which will focus on the friendship between seven young boys. Seo Ji Hoon will be seen as Kim Hwan (Jin), Ro Jong Hyun as Cein (Suga), Ahn Jo Ho as Hosu (J-hope), Seo Young as Dogeon (RM), Kim Yoon Woo as Haru (Jimin), Jung Woo Jin as Jooan (V) and Jeon Jin Seo as Jeha (Jungkook).

On the work front, Kim Taehyung is all set to collaborate with American singer and songwriter UMI for the song 'Wherever U R'. The song 'Wherever U R' will release on December 30 at 2 PM KST, which is 10:30 AM IST.
