BTS RM aka Kim Namjoon is currently serving in the military yet he never fails to find time to interact with ARMYs. He recently engaged with ARMYs on Weverse, where he addressed the possibility of performing his latest collaboration, Neva Play, live with Megan Thee Stallion. When a fan asked about their potential performance, RM candidly replied, “She’s too busy,” implying that while both artists are open to the idea, their packed schedules make it unlikely for now.

RM's military duties will keep him occupied until June 2025 and Megan Thee Stallion is also currently focused on her own projects. As a result, fans may have to wait a while before seeing them on stage together.

Apart from discussing future collaborations, RM also expressed his desire to perform his solo album Right Person, Wrong Place for fans someday, adding more excitement to his upcoming musical plans. Released on September 6, 2024, Neva Play marks RM and Megan Thee Stallion’s second collaboration, following their successful partnership on Butter. The track showcases a new side of RM, with his deep vocals and strong rhythm blending perfectly with Megan's flow. It’s a catchy hip-hop track that has quickly gained global recognition.

The collaboration has been a significant milestone for both artists. Neva Play was recently selected as the official theme song for WWE SmackDown, further boosting its popularity. The song’s success is evident as it debuted on Spotify’s Global Top 10 with 4.5 million streams on its first day of release. Neva Play has also made its mark on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 36, making it RM’s second solo entry on the chart. It also climbed to No. 5 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart and secured No. 66 on the UK Official Singles Chart, marking RM’s highest entry there.

Although the music video for Neva Play features an animated version of RM, fans are eagerly anticipating a live collaboration between him and Megan Thee Stallion in the future.
