BTS RM has once again shown his generosity and thoughtfulness, this time with a wedding gift that left rapper Sleepy astonished. On the August 11 episode of KBS's The Return of the Superman, Sleepy shared a heartwarming story about RM’s surprising gesture that topped all other wedding gifts he received.
According to Sleepy, after hearing about his wedding, RM reached out to him through a direct message (DM), congratulating him and asking for his bank details. Sleepy, though initially reluctant, eventually shared his account number with RM. To his shock, he later received a notification that 10 million KRW had been deposited into his account. Sleepy reflected on this moment during the show, describing RM’s gift as the most memorable and significant among all the presents he had received.
Rapper DinDin, who was also present during the episode, provided some backstory about RM and Sleepy's relationship. The two have known each other for years, having first met in South Korea's underground hip-hop scene. Their friendship eventually led Sleepy to introduce RM to HYBE’s founder, Bang Si Hyuk, a connection that would play a crucial role in RM's rise to global stardom.

Currently, RM is fulfilling his mandatory military service, which he began in December 2023. Despite his military duties, RM continues to receive recognition for his dedication and has been actively participating in various competitions as part of a military band. He is expected to be discharged in June 2025, after which he will return to his leadership role in BTS.

On the music front, RM recently made waves with his solo album Right Place, Wrong Person, featuring the title track LOST! The 11-track album has been praised for RM’s willingness to experiment with new concepts, further cementing his reputation as an artist unafraid to push boundaries.
