BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung is currently serving in the military and is away from the limelight. Despite his absence from the showbiz, the singer manages to grab the attention and trend on social media. V has now grabbed the eyeballs due to his recently released photoshoot for a popular magazine and luxury brand Celine. For the unversed, V is the global brand ambassador of Celine and has attended several events for the brand.

Fans have called V's photoshoot the best gift for Valentine's Day. BTS ARMY has praised the photoshoot for V's stunning visuals and its creativity.

On the work front, V teamed up with IU for the latter's music video 'Love Wins All'. Talking about why he agreed to do the music video, V said, "As I was preparing my solo album, I didn't have much time. So, I promised ARMY that I'd shoot a drama or a film but I couldn't do that. So, it was a shame and I was upset for not being able to do what ARMY would've wished to see. I'm trying to leave as much stuff before I leave (for the military). So, I think they'll be able to see some fun stuff while waiting."

The song earlier received criticism from sexual minorities over its title as LGBTQIA individuals shared their concerns over the use of 'Love Wins'. Some netizens expressed that the phrase 'Love Wins' is a pride parade slogan and the song might reduce the meaning behind the phrase by showing heterosexual relationships.

V recently became the second richest Kpop idol according to Netizens Reports. As per reports, his estimated net worth is 40 Million USD.

The singer earlier a heartfelt note for his fans and expressed his love and admiration for his fans ahead of starting his military service. He wrote on Weverse, "I think I'm going to miss you so much. To be honest, it's a real shame that I can't have any more happy memories with ARMYs for some time, if it wasn't for that one thing it would be okay, but not being able to see ARMYs is the hardest. For a long time that is 18 months, I will become really healthy and come back so ARMYs, please take care of your health too. and if day by day you find things to be happy about, I'll appear once again like 'tada! I'm here!'. and also I have prepared various things for during those 18 months so please look forward to it."

Kim Taehyung will return from the military in 2025 and will reunite with the other BTS members in the same year.
