Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will welcome their first child in September 2024. The couple has taken the internet by storm after they posted stunning pictures from their maternity photoshoot. Several celebrities including Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif reacted to pictures and congratulated the couple as well. Deepika's co-star from her Hollywood movie 'XXX: Return Of Xander Cage' Vin Diesel also commented on her post.

Vin Diesel simply commented with a folding hand emoticon on Deepika and Ranveer's post. Deepika and Vin Diesel were seen together in 'XXX: Return of Xander Cage' in 2017. The movie became a huge hit worldwide despite receiving mixed reactions.

Earlier, in an interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika talked about starting her own family with Ranveer Singh. She said, "When I meet the people I have grown up with — my aunts, uncles, family friends — they always mention how I haven’t changed one bit. That says a lot about our upbringing... In this industry, it’s easy to get carried away by fame and money. But no one treats me like a celebrity at home. I am a daughter and a sister first. I don’t want that to change. My family keeps me grounded and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children."

On the work front, Deepika Padukone was recently seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD', which has become a blockbuster at the box office. She plays the role of Sum-80 in the movie and impressed the audience with her performance. The movie also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Shobhana and Kamal Haasan. Deepika will also be seen in the next instalment of 'Kalki 2898 AD'.

Ranveer Singh was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' alongside Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. The movie became a huge hit. He will next star in 'Singham Again' and will team up with Deepika as well alongside Arjun Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

The actor has also announced an untitled project by Aditya Dhar and will be seen with Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna.
