BLACKPINK member Jennie is currently one of the most popular Kpop stars and never fails to amaze her fans with her voice, dance and beauty. She has been experimenting in her career since 2023 as she made her acting debut in 'The Idol', participated in a variety show and launched her solo label as well. After establishing her own label ODD ATELIER, Jennie has reportedly applied for a trademark for her stage name.
According to the latest reports, Jennie has applied for a trademark in the US for her stage name Jennie Ruby Jane. She made her acting debut in 'The Idol' under the same name. The Kpop star reportedly wants to establish her solo career and wants to be the only one to use her name for business activities.

According to reports by South Korean news outlets, Jennie will release her solo album in June 2024. It has also been reported that the Kpop idol will soon make an official announcement regarding her comeback.
She launched her solo label 'ODD ATELIER' but decided to stay associated with her agency YG Entertainment for the group activities with BLACKPINK. Talking about going on her solo journey, Jennie said, "I wanted to do group activities with the company I had been with for seven years, but I wanted to be freer and more comfortable in my individual activities, so I carefully founded a company called OA. I will work with the crew I have been with for a long time. I wanted to be able to do all my activities freely.”

Jennie penned a note for fans and expressed her excitement about her new journey. She wrote, "Hi, This is Jennie. This year was filled with many accomplishments and I am so thankful for all the love I have received. I am also excited about what's to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK. Thank you."
On the work front, Jennie recently appeared in the variety show 'Apartment 404', which is streaming on Prime Video.
