BTS Jungkook might be serving in the military currently but his '97 liner besties SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo recently delighted fans with what many believe was a late-night cycling adventure together. The two idols, who are part of the well-known '97 liner group, have a close friendship that includes other prominent figures like GOT7’s Yugyeom and BamBam and NCT’s Jaehyun.

The speculation began when Mingyu shared photos of himself on a nighttime bike ride, looking playful in a pink outfit. Not long after, Cha Eun Woo posted similar photos of his own late-night cycling experience. The timing and content of these posts were so strikingly similar that fans couldn’t help but wonder if the two friends had spent the evening together, possibly taking turns as each other’s photographers.

Netizens quickly picked up on the similarities, with many believing that this was no coincidence. The idea of Mingyu and Cha Eun Woo going on a “cycling date” together is something fans find adorable and entirely in character for the close-knit group. However, some multi-fans expressed a bit of disappointment that BTS Jungkook couldn’t join them, as he is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service.

Cha Eun Woo is gearing up for his next solo release. He recently announced a new single titled "Hey Hello," a collaboration with Norwegian artist Peder Elias, set to drop on August 30. This marks his first solo track since the release of his debut album, ENTITY. The announcement came with a visually captivating poster shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, featuring the silhouettes of the two artists against a backdrop with playful font.

SEVENTEEN's Mingyu is gaining recognition in the dance community. He was recently named one of the top new-generation dancers by the Kwon Twins from Street Man Fighter, alongside BLACKPINK's Lisa. The Kwon Twins, who appeared in episode 17 of BIGBANG's Daesung's YouTube show Jib Daesung, praised both Lisa and Mingyu for their exceptional dance skills, cementing their status as leading dancers of the new generation.
