Diljit Dosanjh is one of the most popular Punjabi singers and has represented India on the international stage several times. He recently met the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau at Rogers Centre in Toronto. The singer shared the video on social media and fans called it an epic crossover. The video took netizens by surprise as this collaboration was certainly unexpected.

Sharing the video, Diljit wrote, "Diversity is 🇨🇦‘s strength. Prime Minister @justinpjtrudeau came to check out history in the making: we sold out the Rogers Centre!"

In the video, Diljit Dosanjh hugged Justin Trudeau and the two were later seen cheering for each other.

Diljit earlier took the internet by storm after he made his grand debut on Jimmy Fallon's show 'The Tonight Show' and performed his two chartbuster songs, 'Born To Shine' and 'G.O.A.T'. He also flaunted his stellar Bhangra moves and received a loud cheer from the crowd.

On the work front, Diljit was last seen in 'Jatt & Juliet 3' along with Neeru Bajwa in the lead role. The movie also stars Jasmin Bajwa, Rana Ranbir, B.N. Sharma, Nasir Chinyoti. It revolves around two police officers, who travel to the UK for a mission and get caught up in unexpected chaos. 'Jatt & Juliet 3' is the sequel to hit Punjabi movies 'Jatt & Juliet' and 'Jatt & Juliet 2'.

He was also seen in 'Amar Singh Chamkila', which is streaming on Netflix. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role.

While speaking to Film Companion, Diljit praised Imtiaz Ali's dedication towards the movie. He said, "Every day Imtiaz sir sends a mail detailing bits and pieces about Chamkila’s personality like how he would walk and all. I have never had a schooling like this. He is earnest and very focused. I thought I knew Chamkila because I am from Punjab, and I have heard his music, but personally, I think Imtiaz knows him more. He is a big director, and I wanted to work with him.”

Diljit also sang the song 'Bhairava Anthem' for Prabhas-starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' and also appeared in the promotional music video.
