Diljit Dosanjh Meets PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh as 'a combination of talent and tradition' during their meeting. The two talked about India's vitality, including yoga, music and culture during the 'memorable' meeting. PM Modi listened carefully as Diljit Dosanjh sang a devotional hymn on Guru Nanak whilst matching his beats by pounding the nearby table like a dholak.
PM Modi heaped praises on the renowned Punjabi singer, "When a boy from a small village in Hindustan shines on the global stage, it feels amazing. Your family named you Diljit, and you keep on winning people's hearts, just as your name suggests."
To this, Diljit Dosanjh responded, "We used to read that 'Mera Bharat Mahan' (My India is great), but when I travelled across India, I realised why people say this."
Talking about yoga, Diljit said, "The greatest magic in India is yoga." The Prime Minister nodded in agreement and added, "Those who have experienced yoga know its power."

About Dil-Luminati Tour 2025
Diljit Dosanjh captivated audiences in a number of major cities, including Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Indore, Bengaluru and Guwahati, during his two-month-long Dil-Luminati India Tour. The tour was originally scheduled to end on December 29 with the Guwahati event, but an exciting last-minute addition—a grand finale concert in Ludhiana—turned out to be the ideal way to cap off the incredible musical adventure.
