After the release of the teaser, the Yadav community members were irked by the name of the film and the way their community had been depicted in it. They said that in some parts of the film, their community has been depicted in a negative manner.
They further added that entertainment should not be at the cost of any community’s dignity. They have clearly stated that unless the objectionable parts of the film are edited and corrections are made, they will not allow the film to be released in cinemas.

As the controversy escalated, Elvish Yadav finally responded. Posting on the social media site X, he said, “If there is any scene in the movie that offends the sentiments of the Yadav community, then the producer and director should thoughtfully reconsider and make the necessary changes.” His statement went viral on social media.
Since Elvish Yadav himself is from the Yadav community and has a huge youth following, everyone was eagerly waiting for his response. His involvement has further escalated the issue.
