Gurucharan Singh Missing: The actor known for his role in Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been missing for a week. As authorities conduct an investigation, some social media users have speculated that the actor might be experiencing depression. Amidst various rumours circulating since his disappearance, Gurucharan's on-screen son, Gogi, also known as Samay Shah, expressed his disagreement with this notion. Samay revealed that he had a motivational conversation lasting over an hour with Gurucharan a few months ago. Additionally, he mentioned that the actor was busy working on his Punjabi film.

Recalling his conversation with Gurucharan Singh, Samay told Indian Express, "I spoke with him 4 to 5 months back over the phone. The conversation went on for an hour or more and he kept motivating me, we spoke about running with dreams. I was missing him a lot, especially as we were not working together anymore and we were reminiscing."

Gogi then addressed the speculation surrounding actor's mental state. "He was happy when we spoke. I still cannot believe that people are saying he was depressed. He is not that kind of a person, but then you cannot predict how human consciousness works sometimes. Whenever we spoke, he was very kind and sweet, he was keeping alright, and he would continuously check on me. I don’t think he was in depression. However, we never had the kind of conversations he would have with his parents or friends. I was like a son to him," he added. Samay then disclosed that Gurucharan Singh was involved in a Punjabi film project and expressed hope for his swift return.

Gurucharan Singh missing

According to a complaint filed by Singh's father, the actor set out on a journey from Delhi to Mumbai on Monday but did not reach his intended destination. Singh, who had been visiting his parents in Delhi, was supposed to return to Mumbai but has been uncontactable since April 22.
