New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: TV actress Shweta Tiwari is all set to make her comeback on the small screen with the upcoming show-- Mere Dad ki Dulhan. The actress was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons after she and her daughter Palak Tiwari had alleged husband and actor Abhinav Kohli of domestic violence. Three months later, the actress has finally opened up on the entire matter.

The actress began by comparing it as an infection. "There was an infection which was hurting me badly, I got it removed. People thought it was my hand, part of my body, but they need to understand it was poisonous and I had to take it out," she was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times. But, as of now, things have turned well. "And now, I am healthy again. Don’t think I am trying to portray myself happy, I am actually happy,” she added.

Shweta made her debut with the TV show 'Kaahin Kisi Roz' and rose to fame after playing the role of Prerna in Kasuatii Zindagi Kay.

She revealed that she believes in having a positive outlook even during a negative situation.

Giving an example, she said, “If my one hand stops working, I won’t stop living my life. I will start using my other hand." In a similar manner, if one part of her life goes wrong, she won't stop leading her life as she has to look after their kids and daily chores.

The actress was earlier married to TV actor Raja Chaudhary and filed divorce in 2007-- nine years after marriage-- after domestic violence. Shweta married Abhinav Kohli in July 2013.

While replying to her questions on why her marriage went wrong for the second time, she replied, "I want to ask them why can’t things go wrong. At least, I have the courage to face it and come out in open and talk about the problem," Hindustan Times quoted her saying.

Shweta added that she is doing it all for the betterment of her family and kids. There are so many people are married but have boyfriends and girlfriends. I think I am better than them.
