Kaatera OTT Release: Indian Kannada-language action drama movie ‘Kaatera’ hit the theatres on December 29, 2023. The movie stars Darshan and Aradhana Ram, in her debut, in the lead roles along with Jagapathi Babu, Kumar Govind, Vinod Kumar Alwa, Danish Akhtar Saifi and Shruti in supporting roles. 'Kaatera' received positive reviews from critics and became the highest-grossing Kannada film of 2023. Amid successful theatrical run, the movie is all set for its OTT release.
Kaatera OTT Release
Before its theatrical release, the makers had successfully secured a deal with Zee Network for both satellite and digital rights. According to reports, the film is set to be available for streaming within 45 days, aligning perfectly with the current strategy of the streaming platform. Starting from February 9, Kaatera will be accessible for streaming exclusively on Zee5 Kannada. As of now, the release of Kaatera is limited to the Kannada audience only.
About Kaatera
Drawing inspiration from a true event unfolding in a Karnataka village during the 1970s, the narrative of the film captures a slice of real-life history. Commencing on August 5, 2022, the principal photography journeyed through diverse locations in Bengaluru and Hyderabad during the shooting process.
