Maharaja Box Office Collection Day 7 (China):  Vijay Sethupathi starrer Tamil action thriller movie has been roaring at the Chinese ticket windows. After winning the hearts of Indian audiences, the film has been impressing the Chinese as well. Maharaja hit 40, 000 silver screens of China on November 29. The film managed to maintain a steady pace at the box office despite witnessing a drop after three days of its release. As per Sacnilk, Vijay Sethupathi’s Tamil movie earned Rs 3.90 crore which is USD 0.46 million on Day 7. The total China collection of Maharaja is Rs 40.75 crore which is USD 4.82 million. The worldwide collection of Vijay Sethupathi’s movie is Rs 146.88 crore. Maharaja’s net collection is Rs 72.41 crore and gross collection is Rs 81.83 crore. As per Sacnilk, “Maharaja is the highest-grossing Indian movie in China since Thugs Of Hindostan in November 2018. Overall, the Tamil blockbuster is the 13 biggest Indian grosser there.”

The movie was made on a budget of Rs 20 crore. It has been directed by Nithilan Saminathan and produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy.

About Maharaja

The movie focuses on a father who seeks justice for his daughter after she was gang raped. He complained to the police without revealing the actual crime but got justice. Later, it has been revealed that the main antagonist is the real father of the victim. The movie features Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Sachana Namidass, Divyabharathi and Singampuli in significant roles. After its successful theatrical run, Maharaja was released on Netflix where it was successful again. The movie is streaming on the digital platform on Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu.
