Mohali Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of the India-West Indies ODI scheduled to be played on Saturday at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, also known as the New Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, in New Chandigarh, Mohali. 

With a large number of spectators expected to arrive for the match, authorities have made special arrangements for traffic movement and parking around the venue.

Spectators have been advised to use only the designated parking facilities and follow the routes prescribed by the traffic police.

Parking Arrangements

* P-1 and P-2: Reserved for VVIP vehicles.

* P-3: Reserved for media, broadcasting teams, corporate box guests and persons with disabilities. Only vehicles carrying valid stickers will be allowed.

* P-4, P-5, P-6 and P-7: Designated for general spectators. These will be paid parking facilities, with arrangements also made for taxis.

Traffic Congestion Points

Traffic pressure is expected to increase around the stadium, particularly at:

* Mullanpur Barrier

* PCL Chowk

* Marble Market Light

* Omaxe Roundabout

Police have urged motorists to follow the instructions of traffic personnel and use designated routes. Visitors have also been asked not to park vehicles on roadsides or in restricted areas to prevent traffic bottlenecks.

Authorities said the arrangements have been made to ensure smoother traffic movement around the PCA Stadium during the match. In case of an emergency, people can contact the police helpline at 112.
