Social media has increasingly become a worrying space, with unverified chats, photos and videos going viral without any confirmation of their authenticity. A recent trend has seen users posting alleged private conversations with celebrities, claiming to “expose” them, often without credible proof. This growing culture of online allegations has raised concerns about misinformation and reputational harm. Most recently, screenshots showing chats between YouTuber Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, and a young girl began circulating on Reddit, levelling false allegations against him. The posts quickly gained traction, prompting Abhishek to respond publicly.
Reacting to the viral claims, Abhishek took to his Instagram Stories to dismiss the screenshots as fake. He pointed out that the chats featured Android emojis, while he uses an iPhone, suggesting that the conversations were fabricated. “If you ever see any chat claiming to be mine with Android emojis in it, the person who made it is already exposed,” he wrote, calling out the false narratives circulating online.
Abhishek Malhan was recently linked to actor Jiya Shankar, with reports even claiming the two were engaged. However, Abhishek has firmly denied the rumours, dismissing them as false. Taking to Instagram Stories, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 finalist shared a strongly worded note expressing his frustration over the repeated speculation.
Clarifying his position, he stated that he does not want his name to be associated with anyone, adding that his participation in a reality show three years ago ended there and his stance has remained unchanged since.
Abhishek also pointed out that such rumours have become a recurring pattern, resurfacing almost every year without any context or reason. He concluded by urging fans and social media users to respect his boundaries, stressing that he prefers to focus on his work and move forward positively without engaging in unnecessary speculation.
