Aneet Padda made her Blockbuster debut with Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, also starring Ahaan Panday. The movie smashed all the records at the box office upon its release in theatres on July 18. The actress has been applauded for her performance in the film. Now, according to the latest reports, she will be seen next in a gripping courtroom drama titled Nyaya. It is a non-YRF project that Aneet reportedly shot for before landing her big role in Saiyaara. She will star alongside Fatima Sana Sheikh and Arjun Mathur.

Saiyaara Actor Aneet Padda To Star In Courtroom Drama

Aneet Padda will be seen in a new and intense role in Nyaya, which is based on real events. The show explores the complexities of faith and the law. The shooting was done last year, and now the makers are set to premiere on an OTT platform. According to Peeping Moon, Sana Fatima Sheikh portrays a determined police officer, and Aneet plays a 17-year-old girl seeking justice after being sexually assaulted by an influential spiritual leader.

Nyaya is being produced by Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment in association with Mangata Films. It is directed by Nitya Mehra, known for Baar Baar Dekho and Made in Heaven, along with her husband, filmmaker Karan Kapadia. As per reports, the show also features Arjun Mathur, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav, and Rajesh Sharma in key roles.

The movie marks the debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda as the lead pair, playing Krish Kapoor and Vaani Batr. They have been garnering praise not only from the audiences but also from the members of the film industry.

Amid the historic success, Aneet was spotted at Mumbai airport on Sunday, seemingly headed for a celebratory getaway with the film’s cast and other memebers.
