Television actor Ashlesha Savant, known for her roles in Anupamaa and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has officially tied the knot with her longtime partner, actor Sandeep Baswana. After being together for 23 years, the couple finally took the next step in their relationship and got married in a quiet, intimate ceremony. Ashlesha delighted fans by sharing their beautiful wedding photographs on social media, giving everyone a glimpse of their special day.

On Sunday, Ashlesha and Sandeep posted their wedding photos on Instagram through a joint update. Ashlesha looked elegant in a simple pink saree, while Sandeep coordinated with her in a baby-pink kurta-pyjama and jacket. The pictures captured various moments from their ceremony, reflecting warmth, simplicity and deep emotion. In their caption, the couple wrote, “And just like that, we stepped into a new chapter as Mr & Mrs… Tradition found its way into our hearts. We are filled with gratitude for all the blessings.” As reported by Times Of India, the wedding took place on 16th November at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan, with only close family members present.

Speaking about their decision to get married now, Sandeep in an interview with Times Of India revealed that they had visited Vrindavan in April and felt a profound connection with the Radha-Krishna temples there. He shared, “Our parents are the happiest. They’ve been waiting for this moment for years. We wanted a simple ceremony, and what better place than a Lord Krishna temple?” Ashlesha expressed similar feelings, saying she felt deeply grateful to have married the love of her life in a place that meant so much to both of them. She mentioned that the decision happened naturally and they wanted to keep it private, surrounded only by family.

On the other hand, on Monday, Smriti Irani took to Instagram and shared a wedding picture of Ashlesha and Sandeep and wrote, “Some love stories take the most interesting turns. They begin not with rituals, but with realism. They promise nothing except companionship. They bring nothing to the table except the honest truth that love may ebb with time, but friendship doesn’t. Ashlesha Savant Sandeep Baswana Love Story

Ashlesha and Sandeep first met in 2002 while shooting Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Ashlesha played Teesha Mehta Virani and Sandeep played Sahil Virani. Their friendship slowly developed into a strong relationship, and they have been living together for many years. Ashlesha is currently seen in the TV show Jhanak, while Sandeep was last seen in the 2024 series Apollena Sapno Ki Unchi Udann.
