Bollywood actor Richa Chadha shows her concern over the deteriorating air quality of Delhi. The current AQI of Delhi is 419 (on November 24), which falls under the 'severe' category, making the air highly unfit for the human body. After Kriti Sanon, Richa Chadha has now come forward, expressing her views on the ongoing living conditions of Delhi and has warned people.
Richa Chadha raised her voice over Delhi’s poor air quality. In her X post, she called Delhi a 'gas chamber'. While Delhi's condition is truly heartbreaking, she urged the people of Mumbai to show up for themselves, the actress also asked Mumbaikars to save the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and themselves.

Richa Chadha reshared user PervinSanghvi’s post on X with her opinion. The user talked about the 'masterplan' that has been prepared by the builders. She urges people to “go all out to protect Sanjay Gandhi National Park". Richa, in her post, talked about the poor condition of Delhi's air. She said, "I am from Delhi and have watched that great, historical city...reduced to a gas chamber. It's heartbreaking!” She further added, "You don't want that Mumbai. Show up for the lungs of Mumbai, save Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Save SGNP, Save Mumbai”.

Richa Chadha's post on X went viral in no time, sparking a wild debate. Netizens had mixed reactions to the post; while some praised her for speaking up, others called it a failed tactic to gain attention. One of the users questioned, "But you were saying that it is because of crackers in diwali ??” Another user commented, “It was never a great city. It was hellhole before as well”.
Delhi’s Current Condition
Delhi's condition post Diwali is hazardous. According to the CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board), Noida is under even more critical conditions, with an AQI rising to 396. Delhi's air is likely to remain the same or even worse for the next three days. Areas like Rohini, Anand Vihar, Ashok Vihar, and Mayur Vihar record an AQI of over 400, sparking major health risks.
