In the viral photos, Emraan Hashmi can be seen dressed in a leather jacket, a black T-shirt and pants. His long hairstyle gives fans nostalgic vibes from the first film. Disha, on the other hand, was seen wearing a printed ethnic suit.

Soon, fans shared their excitement and speculated bout what will happen in the Awarapan sequel.

One user wrote, "Shivam was shot, but he was not shown dead. If his character has died, then it will be more interesting to see how they bring Shivam back to life, because Awarapan 2 will start from where the first one ended." Earlier, Hashmi shared an update on Awarapan 2 and details about his character. During a chat with Zoom, the actor said "Awarapan has been in discussion for almost six years. There was a conversation earlier, pre-COVID, and I said, 'How can you bring back Shivam?' The finality of the film was where he apparently dies. So there have been ideas and I think we cracked something really good in 2022, when my friend Bilal came with the script, which fits it to the T and takes that brand ahead."

Awarapan 2 Release Date

This project marks a reunion between Emraan and Vishesh Film, who previously delivered hits like Jannat, Murder, Raaz, Gangster and more. Awarapan 2 is scheduled to hit cinemas on April 3, 2026, as announced by the makers through a teaser unveiled on social media.
