BLACKPINK's Jisoo has made her highly anticipated debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The latest version of the famed music listing, revealed online on October 21, sparked immediate celebrations from BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans). The oldest member of the Kpop group secured her first-ever entry on the chart with her latest single, the collaborative track EYES CLOSED featuring Zayn Malik. The song debuted as the 72nd most popular song of the week in the United States.
The collaborative track by Jisoo and Zayn Malik has debuted at No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the 30-year-old's highly celebrated first solo entry on the chart (she had previously charted with BLACKPINK's group releases). With this achievement, BLACKPINK makes history as the first and only Kpop girl group to have all of its members secure solo entries on the US chart.
The track achieved several other notable chart successes this week. Beyond the Hot 100 debut, the collaboration peaked at No. 7 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, landed at No. 10 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and reached No. 20 on the Global 200 chart.
