About BRICS Summit 2026: India helped build consensus among BRICS members on Saturday (September 12, 2026), after Iran and the United Arab Emirates reached a last-minute agreement over the wording on the West Asia conflict.

The compromise enabled the 11-member bloc to adopt the New Delhi Declaration at the summit chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
