BTS member Jungkook surprised fans and fellow idol SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu when he unexpectedly appeared during Mingyu’s Instagram livestream with group leader S.Coups. The fun and friendly moment quickly went viral as fans from both fandoms celebrated the duo’s cheerful interaction. The BTS star’s unexpected visit instantly created buzz online, with fans flooding social media platforms with reactions and clips.
The livestream, part of Mingyu and S.Coups’ unit “CXM,” started off as a casual chat with fans. However, things took an exciting turn when Jungkook’s name suddenly appeared in the comments section. Mingyu and S.Coups were visibly surprised and amused, greeting their friend warmly. As the three chatted, Mingyu shared updates about SEVENTEEN’s North American tour. He also jokingly admitted that it felt a bit “awkward” having a real-life friend join his livestream, which made Jungkook laugh. Fans then began requesting that the two idols take on the trending “5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)” dance challenge together. Jungkook responded enthusiastically, saying that he was ready to film it anytime. His light-hearted attitude and quick responses delighted both SEVENTEEN and BTS fans watching the livestream.

Jungkook and Mingyu are part of the famous “97 liners” group which is a close-knit circle of K-pop idols born in 1997. The group includes GOT7’s BamBam and Yugyeom, NCT’s Jaehyun, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, SEVENTEEN’s DK and The8, and sometimes Stray Kids’ Bang Chan. Despite belonging to different agencies, these stars are known for their strong friendship and mutual support.
