Janhvi Kapoor just proved that she is a true fashion icon. She finally made her Cannes debut for Homebound. The actress walked the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival in a beautiful pink-coloured ensemble. Her outfit featured a corset top and a mermaid fit skirt made with a shiny fabric. The skirt included a long tail which added a little drama to her ensemble. Janhvi opted for a subtle pearl jewellery featuring studded earrings, a couple of neck pieces. She was accompanied by Ishaan Khatter and Karan Johar at the event.

Janhvi walked with fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani. Janhvi channeled her inner goddess, making a memorable debut. She left a lasting impression, "breaking the internet" with her presence.

Ishaan Khatter also stunned at the Cannes red carpe. He raised temperatures online with his presence. Ishaan served royal charm in a maroon embroidered tuxedo. She added style with sunglasses, making a striking impression at the event.

About Homebound: Homebound is an Indian Hindi-language drama film, written and directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. The movie stars Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor. The film has been bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, along with Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. Homebound had its world premiere at the Un Certain Regard section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, on 21 May 2025.

"Two childhood friends from a small village in North India pursue a police job that offers them the dignity they have long been denied. As they move closer to their goal, rising desperation begins to strain the bond between them," read the synopsis.
