Dhurandhar Advance Booking: Ranveer Singh's Film's Pre-Sales Make Impressive Start Ahead Of Release

Dhurandhar Advance Booking: Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt, is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is set to hit theatres on December 5. Ahead of its theatrical run, advance reservations began on Sunday, November 30, and have been creating waves in the pre-sales collections. The most expensive ticket for the Ranveer Singh starrer, priced at over Rs 2000, has grabbed everyone's attention. The story of Dhurandhar, inspired by real-life events, geopolitical tensions and RAW’s covert operations, has generated an impressive amount in advance bookings.

According to Sacnilk report, Dhurandhar has sold 2,755 tickets from 1,366 shows bookings were made open by the makers. The average Ticket price is Rs 325, earning a pre-sale collection of Rs 15.78 lakh across India. With block seats, the film has earned Rs 1.12 crore. Based on this advance booking collection, Ranveer's film is expected to cross the pre-sales figures collected by Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava, which released in February this year.

What Is Dhurandhar About?

Since the teaser was unveiled, Dhurandhar has been surrounded by rumours that it is inspired by the high-stakes missions of brave army officer Major Mohit Sharma. However, director Aditya Dhar recently set the record straight, stating that the film is not based on the martyred soldier.

Ranveer Singh leads this action-packed spy saga, which is touted to be based on true events. The film follows a fearless Indian intelligence operative who infiltrates the Lyari region of Pakistan, full of terrorist networks and high risks. He embarks on the mission as an undercover RAW agent with the motive of battling terrorism and taking down a notorious criminal organisation. Adding star power, Dhurandhar also features Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Naveen Kaushik, Manav Gohil, and several others in pivotal roles.

Dhurandhar Expected OTT Release Timeline

Set to release on December 5, Dhurandhar is directed by Aditya Dhar and co-produced by him, along with Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of B62 Studios and Jio Studios. Ahead of its theatrical run, reports about the OTT release of Dhurandhar have been buzzing online, claiming that Netflix has acquired the digital rights. The film is expected to start streaming in early 2026, according to OTTPlay.
