India's batting King Virat Kohli's 52nd ODI hundred has sent his fans and the members of the film industry into a frenzy. Social media flooded with excitement as Virat scored his brilliant 135 off 120 deliveries, laced with eleven boundaries and seven maximums against South Africa in the first match of the series in Ranchi. India posted a massive 349/8 against South Africa in their 50 overs; now the Proteas need to chase down 350 to win the game. Like every fan, actor Ranveer Singh also lauded Virat's ODI ton in his Dhurandhar style, revealing why he is truly 'The King.'

Taking to Instagram story, Ranveer shared a photo of Virat Kohli from the ODI match. He added his upcoming movie Dhurandhar's Title track to the post. Alongside the post, he wrote, "Sometimes a KING has to remind you why he is THE KING."

Kohli scripted yet another milestone with his masterclass and competitive trademark style on the ground at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi on Sunday. Soon after Virat reached the milestone, he celebrated by jumping in delight after taking the single. Kohli took out his ring pendant and kissed it before his celebration was interrupted by a fan in the middle of the ground. Breaching the security at the venue, the fan expressed his excitement over Virat's memorable performance and touched the batter's feet before he was escorted out by the security officers.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for his much-awaited movie Dhurandhar, where he portrays the role of a RAW agent, called 'The Wrath of God.' Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film also stars Sunjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. The movie promises a gripping narrative blending action, patriotism and espionage and set to hit theatres on December 5. The action film is produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

Ahead of its theatrical release, reports of Dhurandhar's OTT release have surfaced online. Its digital rights have reportedly been acquired by Netflix. According to the OTTPlay report, the highly anticipated action thriller will start streaming on January 30, 2026.
