BTS V has been making headlines for his personal life after the speculation rife about Kim Taehyung being spotted with a mystery woman at a restaurant while taking some time off from the military. Guess who is the lady? The ARMY on social media have been speculating that it is none other than When Life Gives You Tangerines actress IU. For those who are unaware, the duo collaborated on a music video for IU’s pre-release single Love Wins All. After this project, they won the hearts of the ARMY and since then, there have been speculations about their dating. However, the duo never confirmed or denied. V is currently completing the mandatory military service. 

Coming back to Taehyung, the BTS member was reportedly spotted with IU in a luxury restaurant in Seoul on her birthday (May 16). The speculations started after some pictures of V sitting at a restaurant with a woman, whose face is not clearly visible. Fans claimed that she is IU and stated that she introduced V to her fans. One of the fans wrote on X, “taehyung and IU were having dinner with Seulong, one of IU’s best friends and other women. She really introduced him to her close circle of friends. So happy that he’s surrounded by people who really love him.” 

Fans on social media reacted to the post and shared their views on it. A user said, “Taehyung again with his social butterfly effect I’m so happy for him , I hope in the future he’ll make more friends who loves and support him.” Another wrote, “I really feel so happy when I see h surrounded by people who care for him my taetae deserve to be loved.” Another wrote, “Okay tae's actor friend group increasing day by day remember we are so ready for.” 

Earlier, V and IU attended an encore concert in September 2023, which fueled their friendship. Since then, the artists have remained on good terms. Their sudden appearances and gestures have made headlines several times. BTS V is set to be discharged from the military on June 10, 2025.
